I used the wiggler JTAG cable and managed to get JTAG working. The JTAG is the standard eJTAG 14pin. The unpopulated resistor values are:
pin 3, R66, 10K
pin 5, R65, 33
pin 7, R67, 10K
pin 9, R68, 10K
pin 11, R73, 0

Probing output:

However WGT634u uses 384K CFE, so I am not sure whether my command of backing up CFE is correct.
???? tjtag3.exe -backup:custom /wiggler /length:0x60000 /silent /start:0x1c000000 /window:0x1c000000 ????

Here I am attaching the CFE supposed to be, please confirm.

GREAT info! now if i only had a good jtag cable and some experience with it i could test it on this spare router!

i would really love to get this working with a mini-pci encryption card (to offload VPN encryption) and some usb accessories (wifi and maybe a webcam if it has enough power to handle that too)

what else can i get for a mini-pci board thats any good?

Excellent. Thank you for sharing this information. BTW, had you tried to use a regular un-buffered JTAG cable to see if that will work?

Just tried the un-buffered cable, only succeeded after I connected TDO to LPT pin 13 directly, ignored the 100ohm resistor.

hi,

i have got my hands on a cheap wgt634U that I'd be willing to donate to one of the dev team if that would help get it working.

PM me if there are any takers please,

regards
