My internet connection becomes increadibly slow when im torrenting. When i ping something it takes a long time to respond, or it will even time out. Is there anything i can do to my WRT350N to make it handle my torrenting? Im running the v24beta

Thanks.

I bumped up my ip filter settings, but that hasn't stopped my router from tripling my ping when im torrenting.

Don't know if this would help, but a guide was written to use DD-WRT, QoS, and uTorrent (should work with most other bittorrent clients as well): http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=18415

Oh, man. Welcome to the real world... It's not a problem of dd-wrt.

Indeed, your ping is probably high because you're downloading or uploading at max speed...
This is normal. You can always put QoS in between. I've been downloading with bittorrent at full QoS speed, and my ping is still 19msec Smile
