Thanks. I didn't understand why there was no support for newer equipment from Asus aside from their use of an encrypted CFE to prohibit use of any firmware besides theirs.

Yep. Am aware. I have a mix of equipment.

Broadcom drivers are closed source and only for older kernels not much (read zero) chance it will get support for 802.11s. ...
