Hi All,

I've spent 2 days trying to get my usb tethering to work on my Netgear R6400 and can't get it to work. Please help.

Router: Netgear R6400

I then telnet the following commands to nvram

nvram set wan_iface=eth3
nvram set wan_ifname=eth3
nvram set wan_ifnames=eth3
nvram set wan_ifname2=eth3
nvram set wan_default=eth3
nvram commit

On my LG phone (rooted) I turn on USB Debugging and USB tethering, and plug into the usb port on the router, but I can't get anywhere. If I plug the usb from the phone directly to my laptop then it works.

That's a good idea. I have tried an iphone yet. I will borrow one later today.
