You have an asus firmware that prevents flashing of third party firmware.
Set a static ip on your computer, 182.168.1.9, 255.255.255.0, 182.168.1.1.
Turn off the router. Hold the reset button in while turning on the router. When the power led is blinking, you can let go of the reset button.
Navigate to 192.168.1.1 in your browser and load the dd-wrt firmware in the mini cfe-web server.
