Hi
I have a secondary remote router that is a client to a main router, over a strong wireless link. Internet bandwidth is capped, via QoS, on the second router, so the very limited total internet bandwidth available, after primary devices on the primary router consume most of the bandwidth, the remaining available bandwidth on the second system is prioritized.
An excellent example is, how, without QoS, Google Photos automated backup on Android, will kill the internet access on the secondary system. With QoS, it won't - other activities work (streaming, browser page loading, apps).
I need a way to punch through the QoS, only for remote desktop. Because, sometimes, it's necessary to control a PC on the primary network, through a client on the the secondary system.
Currently, QoS is geared to limit overall bandwidth, whether it destined for the internet, or for the primary, upstream network, irregardless.
