@quarkysg / all
does anyone have experienced this problem.

MY printer (HP ENVY 5640) used to connect to DIR 868L (on Dlink firmware) but not connecting on this DDWRT firmware (v3.0-r34311b).

The printer can find the 2.4G network but can't connect. It can connect to hotspot instantaneously.

Thanks in advance.

Try to use 20Mhz and fixed channel (i.e. 1, 6 or 11) for the 2.4GHz interface. See if that helps.

I had a HP printer losing connection with my DD WRT router and AP.

I did an update on the printer firmware (dec-17) which i assume patched the KRACK issue and i don't have this issue anymore.

I was using build 33986 and currently 34311.

after setting the "Wireless Network Mode" to NG-Mixed, it worked but next time it didn't.

I just tried changing it back to "All mixed" and worked again but next time it doesn't

any suggestion?

I see the Printer firmware is up to date.

Mine is set to N Only for 2.4Ghz. Running for more than 20 days on my 880L. Running more than 40 days on my RT-AC68U. Both running my 34311b build.

You may want to try that.

A few days ago, i started having the same problem.

Switching to G-Mode only solves the problem temporalily, as described.

It seems to be an incompatibility between HP wifi and DD WRT.

I have not yet found a solution.

Still searching for a solution, i have found this:

https://support.hp.com/lt-en/document/c03897016

And this:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/Pulling-my-hair-out-Can-t-set-up-wireless-printing-on-HP/td-p/1055451/page/6

They point-out to multicast and bonjour / mdns settings to be enabled on the router.

I don't know what they mean, but i have found a multicast option under security -> firewall and i am testing to see if that solves it.
