Hey there

I've been having trouble installing DD-WRT x86 on a test system of mine. The system is a Sempron 2300+ with 128 RAM (DDR333) and a 40GB HDD.

I've written the DD-WRT image to the disk using a live CD. Next I set the first boot device to the HDD and restarted the system. At first it appears to boot:

Code:
Searching for boot record on IDE0...OK.
GRUB Loading stage1.5.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.

But this is where it freezes. Does anyone have any debugging idea?

FIXED!
The problem was that I used the serial image instead of the VGA image. As a result, DD-WRT sent all debug out the console port instead of the video output.
