we´re a router and wireless plattform....NO printer dongle! there is no need for such features in the builds.
maybe you can add it via ipgk
well even some routers have a print server built into them. i know dlink has done this in the past i was just wondering if its possible i mean think about it some of us have these overkilled routers with maybe barly any resources used so why not give it a try?
We could also add in APACHE, Streaming Media, a full featured DNS server, and your choice of Mysql or Postgresql.
And a new web interface to configure each of them.

That is IF ipkg would work on x86...
EDIT: Yes, this is an old thread but the lack of USB/IPKG support for x86 is a bit bothering for someone willing to pay cash if needed for a DD-WRT with the same features available on Broadcom routers. _________________ Q: How do I do ...? A: Read the tutorials or Search forums
just a thought, would setting up your system with XP or something and running DD-WRT in vmware solve this problem? let XP or something take care of serving things on your network and let DD-WRT do your routing for you.
Yes you can do it with VMWare, I'd ofcourse recommend Linux/unix as a host operating system, but generally any virtual machine system will do even with Windows at the base :)
anyways I'd do things so that I'd run 2 (or more if needed) virtual machines, one I'd use for DD-WRT ofcourse, and then another one for any other services one need, and leave the host computer as vanilla as possible. my 2 cents..
P.S. ipkg or equivalent I'd like to see too, but AFAIK currently nothing I can do about it..
