Hi,

I think this card is based on the Atheros chipset, but I'm not sure. Can anyone please confirm if it will work with dd-wrt x86 or not.

Your help is very much appreciated :)

Yes, this card is supported. Pretty much anything using an Atheros chipset should work.

Thanks for your reply! I have done some more research on the card and I now know that it's based on the AR5513 (AR5005VL) chipset (MIMO capable).

I have read some older threads that this chipset is not supported in dd-wrt x86 (or madwifi). Are you sure this card is supported in dd-wrt x86 v24 (final)?

Sorry for asking the same question twice, but I need to be sure Smile

Well, I took a chance and bought this card, unfortunately it turns out that this card is not supported.

lspci confirms that it uses the AR5513 chipset.

Code:

...

02:06.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR5513 802.11abg Wireless NIC (rev 01)

...

Guess I will return it to the store tomorrow...

Can anyone please recommend me a good (PCI) wireless card that does work in dd-wrt x86. Thanks.
