Was wondering if v24 can support Belkin F5D9230-4 V3XXX, since I read that DD-WRT can now support Intel IXP425 processors. Has anyone done a successful flash to this model. I have read in previous posts, it was not supported because of chipset, but how bout now?

Yes, and I do, and the stock firmware is really buggy. The user.conf file I saved has options not available in web gui. QoS is not exisitent anymore in web gui. I did a firmware update hoping it would help and now it's actually worse and I can't get the old firmware from Belkin, which I thought was a little better.

I'm pretty sure that it only has 2MB Flash Memory, and in user.conf it says uclinux ixp425, wich I'm guessing has to do with the processor.

The user.conf file has options in firewall for Filter Internet Nat Redir., FIlter Ident, etc, but is set to 0, off. So I have edited the value to one and restored settings from the modified user.conf, but I don't know if it has actually done anything.

The thing that bugs me the most about this firmware is remote management is terrible and I often get locked out of my router, and also just read of a security vunerability in the Firmware and should be set to disable Remote Management.

I've tried reflashing the firmware several times, but it didn't help.

Sure, its K75F5D9230-4. Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW, I don't think editing the user.conf worked because I am able to access a web server on my LAN through my WAN IP on a different computer on my LAN. So Filter Internet NAT Redirect shouldn't let me do this I'm guessing.

ok, correct fccid is: K7SF5D9230-4.

FCC:
https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=753002&fcc_id='K7SF5D9230-4'

is far as i can see it has ralink wlan which is not supported right now. the cpu is a RDC not INTEL IXP. the RDC might be x86 compatible but i dont wanna do reseach at this point.

in general: the whole unit is not supported right now.

I also would be interested if it would work on that router. These belkin 9230 routers are borderline useless.

openwrt it is too complicated. I'm lazy and not going to take the time to figure out witch one to use and then compile it.
