just went through the administration options and saw this disable reset button option and had a question to ask.
if i set the reset button to disabled. will this stop people from clearing the nvram settings and defaulting the router to its default settings by holding the reset button down for over 5 seconds?
anyone tested this to see if this function actually works?

Yes...that is what it means...it disables the function of the reset button. The firmware will ignore any GPIO toggle for that button.
It is very risky though...if your router should brick on you to where you can't boot it up...then you MUST use JTAG to recover the router....the reset button will not work to clear out a bad parameter from nvram.

thankyou for the information. i will take this into consideration. the router is setup perfectly now and it will be deployed at a site. im worried someone may rob the router and then erase its settings and try and use it for themselves. hence why i was looking for more info on this function.
