Hi,

I am trying to install a recent build of dd-wrt on my ESXi; i downloaded the x86 recent image and I followed the instructions available on many other posts using Physgui.exe; I have done this before with R18777 successfully.

Whatever based Linux system i used when creating the VM (and i tried with the 64 version as well), when i start the DD-WRT VM it says "Booting the kernel" and nothing else will happen.

Thanks for help

I have an x86 PC and the last known good version was R27805.
Anything newer than that my system will not get an WAN IP address at all.

Also does this system only support 32bit software and that your not trying to load the x64 builds?

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/09-11-2015-r27805/x86/

try loading the Public VGA image or the Public serial image.
The webupgrade files are for updating from a older version already running DD-WRT.

I resolved the issue by downloading the vga version.
All running now.
