I installed DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/24/13) std (SVN revision 22118)on an ESXi 5.5 box.

If I reboot the router from within the interface, it comes back fine.

However, if I hard power off the box and then restart it, I lose all my config (back to defaults).

One other thing - I don't know if it is related or not, but when viewing the box over the ESXi console I don't see anything on the screen. I get the following:

"Undefined video mode number"

but no video modes are available. If I just allow it to continue to boot, then I get some garbled display.

Router works flawlessly otherwise.

ideas?
