I know it's not out yet (Soon™), but I'm very interested in this new microPC, smaller than a NUC, with dual GBe interfaces AND 802.11ac card: http://www.fit-pc.com/web/products/fitlet/fitlet-i/

And as it's linux supported (from Linux Mint), the drivers should be available...

According to the spec sheets:

fitlet-i Barebone
AMD A4-6400T x86-64 SoC
64-bit quad core
1.0GHz (boost up to 1.6GHz)

1x SO-DIMM 204-pin DDR3 SDRAM memory slot
Up to 8GB DDR3-1333

1x mSATA slot up to 6 Gbps (SATA 3.0)
1x eSATA (shared) up to 6 Gbps (SATA 3.0)

AMD Radeon R3 Graphics

Realtek ALC886 HD audio codec

2x GbE LAN ports (RJ-45)
LAN1: Intel I211 GbE controller
LAN2: Intel I211 GbE controller

WLAN 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz dual band Intel 7260HMW)
Bluetooth 4.0

2x USB 3.0
4x USB 2.0
1x Serial communication port

Micro-SD slot support SD/SDHC/SDXC cards

1x micro SIM slot (6 pins)
1x Half/Full-size mini-PCIe socket (high profile)

The Intel NICs should be fine, and the WLAN/BlueTooth card is supported by the iwlwifi kernel driver, so that should be fine too.

Would be a nice router to run PFsense on. Might be PFsense has the required drivers on board.

Has to be supported by FreeBSD 8.3 to run PFSENSE and IIRC it is not.

Yeah, i just found out that freebsd actually has a pretty poor trackrecord on supporting newer wireless devices.

Well, it seems that OpenWRT will be able to support it just fine, including the wireless. While it might not be pfsense, it's good enough, I guess. Also not as good as DD-WRT, but it'll do.
