I began with r33342. I was unable to add a VAP to the 2.4GHz interface, ath1. I'd plug in the settings, save/apply/reboot, but the SSID wouldn't broadcast; nor could it be accessed.

I COULD add a VAP to ath0, the 5GHz interface, although when I attempted anything other than a very basic configuration, it stopped working.

This experience was repeated with r33345.

I'm now at r33375, and I'm unable to create a working VAP on either interface. Checking the /tmp/ath0_hostap.conf, the VAP is there with all the settings, but it doesn't get broadcast.

Any thoughts or suggestions from folks more experienced than myself would be gratefully received.
