Did anyone experimented with the new ipsec vpn that was placed in?
Any tips how to configure the server?

Interested in this too. You need to setup FreeRadius first but I don't know all the steps involved.

Wasn't this part of the soft ether VPN suite?
Soft ether is abandoned because of security/compatibility issues with the latest SSL updates I think.

Available in Kong’s build 33010 and onwards, “ipsec server”. Instructions on how to setup is sparse though.
