Unfortunately you are posting in the wrong forum also not stating which build you are using
I can now access the DD-WRT control panelbut when i click on the 'setup' 'administration' and 'access restrictions' tabs i get a 404 - Not Found error !!
Did you set username and password before trying to access menus? Clear all history. http://192.168.1.1
Avoid Chrome or Chromium browsers. Disable any add-ons, extensions or plugins & clear all history.
Pale Moon, Waterfox (Classic 56 or 3rd Gen 78), Firefox ESR 78 or Release 84 (Release version is YMMV)
If running build r44715 (r44719), perform another reset to clear configuration remnants from r40559.
GUI reset is within Administration -> Factory Defaults tab menu to clear nvram.
Hard reset is hold the physical pinhole reset button 7 to 10 seconds while powered on and after full boot.
Third option is Telnet as root then "nvram erase && reboot" anyway it's up to you.
Ive now flashed the router again after taking it back to original firmware with the below version. Ive read most things and gone through all the QCA wireless settings and advanced settings (See below).
Still I cannot connect to the wifi signal from my router.
All lights are on as should be and when i try to connect I get "No internet - Secured".
Im no computer programmer but I know a little and im left pulling my hair out.
My Nighthawk is to run a VPN on (next issue probably) and is connected to my stock Orange router by a CAT5 cable. Before i loaded DD-WRT it ran fine with the current cable connection.
Can anyone please help and guide a frustrated guy through the right steps in simple terms of how I can resolve this issue.
Many thanks in advance !!!
Im also using Firefox

If your router is connected with its WAN port to another router and you have no internet after a reset a possible problem is that both routers have the same local IP address (192.168.1.1)
So you can set the Local IP address of the Netgear (Setup page ) to 192.168.2.1
