Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to install the dd-wrt on Alix2c3 board.

I already downloaded dd-wrt_public_serial.image file

After this i had only to install this imagem on CF card using physdiskwrite.exe right?

How can i define the ports LAN and WAN to access do web interface console (http://192.168.1.1)

Thank you

Try to have a look around the GUI for yourself. I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for.

I have bought an alix board for a new router, because my WRT54 broke after 3 years.
I dont need wireless at the moment, but I have five or six wireless cards that i would like to test.
How is this if I buy the licence, can I try all theese cards or I need one licence per each one? And if CF get broken, do I need to buy another licence for a new instalation?
Or is there any kond of evaluation licence?

you can ask one free key from brainslayer directly...

registration is binded to an wired NIC's MAC-address, so you can try as many wireless devices as you wish AFAIK...

With free key you can't "renew" your key from internet if something goes bad, but simplest way you can make an backup image from whole CF-card or partition 4 to computer in order to backup your registration... With bought key you can also just re-do activation at dd-wrt activation center, tough backup is still easiest way on my mind...

Thanks for a key!

Don't know about windows... I'd suspect you could use same physdiskwrite that can be used to write DD-WRT into disk to take backup from partition 4..

Personally I just use linuxes 'dd'
