Mini PCI is electronically compatible to PCI 2.1, so an adapter for Mini PCI cards doesn’t require any support from any software. In another words, mini PCI is just regular PCI. There is no driver nor bridge chips for conversion to happen, so any OS (Linux included) will properly identify your mini PCI card as a standard PCI card. The only real difference is the operating voltage, and this is usually corrected by the adapter manufacturer by installing some capacitors and a voltage regulator.
So feel at ease. As long as DD-WRT supports the chipset of the mini pci card, the adapter will not be a problem. If you are planning on using a WiFi card, keep in mind that only Atheros based cards are supported, regardless of being PCI or mini PCI. _________________ Firebox II with DD-WRT, 1 Atheros PCI card, 400MHz AMD K-6 2 CPU, 128MB RAM, 256MB CF Card
