Hi all,

I just received a new alix board,3 LAN,1USB port. Do I still need to update the BIOS?

I have CF installed in a X86 machine loaded with DD-WRT, the public vga image. Can I just install that CF in my Alix board? TIA

Thanks for the response. Will use the serial image.
Do you think this new board has the latest BIOS?

hook up a serial console and you can see the bios version displayed at startup, and compare it to the pcengines.ch download site to see if there's a newer one.

if there is, it's easy to update the bios via xmodem.

I used Physdiskwrite on an XP machine to load DD-WRT serial image to CF. Alix board is now operating. I am thinking of setting it up as a VPN server. How many VPN clients can be supported?
