How do I flash-back to my original factory-firmware? (WRT54G-TM)
I installed the DD-WRT and I'm really enjoying it, but I wanted to know what to do in case something goes wrong or just a weird will of "wanting to flash-back".
I'm sorry, but I think I'm blind. Where did you say it was?
Wiki>>Install>>Linksys WRT54G-TM
After the installation is a reversion process.

All right, I found it now. When I was changing the firmware, there was no tutorial about it, now there is. But I still have another question:
I'm using DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/27/09) mega version. What do I have to do to upgrade it?
I'm quite confused about it, in some places I've read, people was talking about TFTP upgrade and stuff. What do I have to do to install dd-wrt.v24-12774_VINT_mega version, for example?

Just flash through the GUI. (administration, firmware upgrade)
Reset before flash (30/30/30)
flash
WAIT.. WAIT.. WAIT... the router will boot.
power cycle
another reset
configure from scratch.. No config backups loaded.
av & firewall software off before flash.
Don't use vint.. It won't hurt but use a newd version, not newd-2 _________________ [Moderator Deleted]

Hum, all right. Based on my Router's Model, which "Newd" version would you specifically suggest me? There are a bunch of versions there. Haha.

Well newd-2 does work on the TM, but there is no benefit from running it on the TM. _________________ (05/02/17) std - 31924

Check out this for what the difference is between the normal (BS) builds. If you do not require most of the items that come with the Mega build, then use the standard or mini build. _________________ (05/02/17) std - 31924

The orange button function is changed when you use DD-WRT. Check out SES_Button for scripts that you can create that are ran when the SES Button is pressed. _________________ (05/02/17) std - 31924

The orange button function is changed when you use DD-WRT. Check out SES_Button for scripts that you can create that are ran when the SES Button is pressed.
Place that in Administration -> Commands -> Commands box, and click on the Save Startup button. Then restart the router and now the SES-Button will reboot the router when pressed. _________________ (05/02/17) std - 31924
